THIS game should have been a thrilling exhibition of rugby played by two sides committed in both defence and attack, and in parts it was.
However, in truth the game was completely overshadowed by ill-discipline and some baffling decisions by the officials.
In the first-half Barnes had four yellow cards against them, predominantly for high tackles, and in the second-half three more and a straight red for foul play. It was hard for the home supporters to accept that every card was correctly awarded again...
