LOUGHBOROUGH have one hand on the BUCS Super Rugby league title after a statement 47-24 win against Bath.
The reigning national champions won their tenth game in a row, to eclipse Exeter’s blistering nine-game run last season, and take themselves eight points clear at the top.
Bath were previously the only team who could take it upon themselves to dislodge Loughborough, given they were seven points adrift with a game in hand. However, the defeat means that they drop to third and must, alongside Hartpury, hope that Loughborough drop points elsewhere....
