Ghezal’s job is to drag Lyon out of a hole

GOOD news has been hard to come by at Top 14 strugglers Lyon in recent weeks. Last Saturday’s defeat at Pau, which saw them drop to 13th in the league was their fifth domestic loss in a row – it’s hard to believe that, as recently as October 12, they were fourth.
And it got worse for a while. They lost three of their internationals to injury during the match. Scrum-half Baptiste Couilloud left the Stade de Hameau pitch with a sprained elbow – though fears that he may also have suffered a fracture appear to be unfounded.
