BOTH sets of players must be applauded for playing a bright game, despite extremely windy conditions, with at times horizontal rain.
The play was not expansive but it was enthralling throughout.
Redruth dominated the early exchanges and when Taunton were a man down to a yellow card, the visitors were rewarded with a fine try by Sam James, converted by Dean Wills.
It was 20 minutes before Taunton launched an attack of note, but they could not penetrate a resolute Redruth defence. However, they were finally rewarded...
