BATH skipper Charlie Ewels believed they had enough chances to win. The England second row said: “I liked how we stayed calm and also that we were not fazed by scoreboard pressure when we were 15 points down.
“We spoke at half-time about going play to play and we did as it gave us opportunities to win the game but we didn’t take them.
“When you play in conditions like this the game throws stuff at you.
“It felt like a Test match as it felt every play was a big play but while I am proud of the effort from the boys, you want to win these big ones.
