ENGLAND have the players to be successful but they seem to lack the mental fortitude to get over the line. They have lost six tight games in the last 12 months with that victory against Ireland a tantalising glimpse of what could be.
Yes there are issues around selection and use of replacements, but the main problem lies in players’ making mistakes when the pressure is on.
