THE national second stage of the RFU ACE Boys League kicked off this week, with the opening division one fixtures a regional affair.
With the first and third, second and fourth of the Northern and Southern first phases proceeding to two national pools, the level of competition has stepped up a notch, represented no better by Gosforth’s narrow 28-24 win over Brooksby Melton.
