Tonbridge J…………50
Sevenoaks………….. 10
TERRIFIC conditions at the Slade, a bumper crowd for a well marketed ‘Super Saturday’, a minis curtain-raiser and a dominant home performance – a perfect Saturday afternoon for the rugby faithful.
TJs struck first through George Merrick with his score converted by Tom White.
Oaks responded with a George Montgomery penalty, before an exchange of yellow cards saw TJs exploit the extra space as White and Howard Packman combined to put Tom Nicoll under the sticks.
Then Matt Walsh added a third, with White converting both and adding a penalty for a healthy half-time advantage to the hosts.
The second half started in a similar vein with Nicoll crossing for his second and TJs try bonus point fourth within the first minutes. White converted once more.
Hugo Culverhouse and Curtis Barnes added further scores, with Barnes maintaining his record of scoring in every game. White converted again.
Sevenoaks managed a single late consolation score via Olly Green with Montgomery converting. But it was TJs who had the last word with Packman scoring in the final minute and White converting for the half-century.
