JOSH MATAVESI gave a masterclass as the Cherry & Whites once again put in a storming first-half performance, helping them notch a third successive win.

Jordan Nicholls rounded off a fine move to open the scoring, allowing Kyle Moyle to add the first of four conversions.

A pin-point accurate cross-field kick set up Alex Ducker soon after, before the Camborne pack rumbled towards the Taunton line for Ben Priddey to bag the first of his four tries.

Vaea Taione pulled a try back for Taunton, bettered by Louis Sinclair, who also added a couple of penalties before half-time.

By then Camborne were out of sight as Will Hennessey, Moyle, Matavesi and a further brace from Priddey put Camborne in a very strong position.

Camborne again maintained their dominance during the second half, scoring another couple of tries through their forwards, with Jack Andrew and Priddey completing the home side’s scoring.

Taunton managed to salvage a couple of tries towards the end through their speedy winger Rocky Prowse, the second a memorable length of the field run from under his posts. Sinclair added a second conversion to complete the scoring.
