Whilst having some sympathy with both Cambridge and Chinnor, newly promoted to the RFU Championship I feel I must take issue with Paul Sheenan who feels they should automatically qualify for the Premiership Cup.
Surely though, this is a simple case of the maths adding up?
With only 10 clubs in the Premiership and 12 in the Championship, it surely makes sense to have a total of 20 teams in all, consisting of five groups of four teams. If there were 22 teams how would that work?
