SCRUM-HALF and former skipper Samuel Marques is not the only Portuguese veteran being tempted out of retirement this summer by the prospect of a first-ever Test between Os Lobos and South Africa, which will be staged in Bloemfontein on July 20.
Marques, the ice cool director of operations at scrum-half, was persuaded out of retirement by new Portugal coach Simon Mannix a few weeks ago but now comes confirmation that tighthead Francisco Fernandes has also answered the call to arms.
