RFU Council must halt PGP or face turmoil

GET ready for a fracture in the English club game resulting in months of strife if the RFU Board’s attempt to get the RFU Council to approve the PGP at a meeting at Twickenham this Friday is successful.
This became clear this week when Championship clubs made a public statement that the RFU has put them in such a perilous position that they have no option other than to challenge the governing body, whatever the outcome.
