A former Saracen to referee England

Former fly-half Glen Jackson will referee England’s clash with at next month continuing his meteoric rise as an international match official.
Jackson, 36, only retired as a player two years ago but has since been fast-tracked through the refereeing ranks and will now take charge of his first international match involving a Tier 1 side.
Jackson completed his exams during his stint with Saracens and after calling time on his playing career he returned to his native where he quickly graduated from provincial games to and the international stage.
He took charge of the Fiji-Tonga clash in the build-up to last year’s World Cup and was most recently the man in the middle for four games at the Junior World in . He also featured as an assistant for two games in this year’s Rugby Championship.
Jackson will also referee Georgia’s test with in Tbilisi next month and also serve as an assistant for England’s clash with South Africa at Twickenham on November 24.
