Too many coaches taking liberties in selection

It should not be difficult to distinguish between a Premiership rugby match and a game of county cricket: one, full of nuance and subtlety, lasts four days if it goes the distance; the other, full of sound and fury, drags on for a lifetime, thanks to injury stoppages, collapsed scrums and Television Match Officials who are congenitally incapable of putting a sock in it.
