Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall says departing stalwarts Mako and Billy Vunipola are ‘two of the keenest rugby minds’ he’s ever come across.
The brothers confirmed their departure at the end of the season as the exodus continues with club legend Owen Farrell and Alex Lewington also among the 12 leavers announced thus far.
Prop Mako, 33, has been with Sarries for 13 years, having arrived in 2011 where he was then joined by his 31-year-old younger brother two years later.
