Montpellier are leading the chase for Munster centre Antoine Frisch, who has declared his allegiance to France over Ireland.
Born in Fontainebleau, France, Frisch qualifies for Ireland through his Irish grandmother and represented Emerging Ireland in 2022.
Ireland boss Andy Farrell says the 27-year-old has been on his selection radar but Frisch confirmed this week that he does not want to play for Ireland having been called up for a French training squad during the Six Nations as cover for the suspended Jonathan Danty.
