Hull Ionians have three games left to make up a five point deficit and extend their 22-year stay in the National Leagues.
The club has yo-yoed between National One and Two for over a decade but with just one win since October, they face a tough battle for survival against Billingham.
“Survival is the aim,” said head coach Joe Makin. “We’ve got to play three teams (Sheffield, Otley, and already relegated Huddersfield) which are all winnable games. It’s still a job we can do to stay up.”
