TNT Sports will show every game of the Premiership from the 2024/25 season onwards following a new agreement with Warner Bros. Discovery.
The channel’s previous agreement had been with BT Sport, the predecessor channel to TNT, where they had a right to show 80 games a season with others being shown on Prem Rugby TV – the league’s own streaming platform.
At the time this was less than half of the games in a Premiership season, with the 13 teams that were then in the league meaning a total of 171 games were played across a league season.
But from next season the channel will show all 93 games in the league, and continue to show a select number of Premiership Rugby Cup matches.
Simon Massie-Taylor, Chief Executive Officer Premiership Rugby, said: “This first season alongside TNT Sports has already produced some unmissable drama – so we are delighted to be showcasing every single Gallagher Premiership Rugby game on the same platform from 2024-25.
“Millions of fans have helped break viewership records this year as we work together to innovate and bring the game to new audiences.
“And with The Run-In kicking-off on Friday night, the race for the play-offs is set to go to the wire ahead of the Gallagher Premiership Rugby Final, live on TNT Sports on Saturday, June 8.”
