The battle for supremacy at the top of the National 2 East can feel like a staring contest, and last weekend we may finally have seen the first blinks.
Losses for Bury St Edmunds and Dorking, as well as a slip-up from Barnes at the start of the year, have left it advantage Esher in the race for the title.
Though they had a fourpoint cushion and a game in hand over second place, coming into this weekend Esher full-back Owen Waters insists his side care little about the results around them.
