DANNY Cipriani has retired from professional rugby, describing it as a “sobering but freeing moment”. Cipriani, 36, left Bath at the end of the 2021-2022 season and turned out for the Barbarians that summer. He has not played since.
He won 16 England caps and prior to moving to The Rec played for Wasps, Melbour ne Rebels, Sale and Gloucester.
