Adams looks for big home comforts in crucial run-in

Newport Salop head coach Bob Adams is hoping history repeats itself this season with the club bottom of National Two West facing a survival run-in that predominantly features home fixtures.
Adams’ side had picked up just two wins from 14 outings heading into yesterday’s crunch match against Hornets.
Newport turned their fortunes around last season, picking up four crucial wins in the second half of the campaign to avoid relegation, and Adams hopes that home advantage in seven of their final 12 games will help them avoid the drop.
