Ciaran Roberts swapped life in west London for Portugal this summer to play in the promising Portuguese Top 10 and has fallen in love with the league’s Latino-inspired style of rugby.
The 23-year-old scrumhalf made the move from Ealing Trailfinders to Lousa, where the Irishman has been an ever present this season playing in all eight of their domestic fixtures.
Having been part of a structured Ealing squad, the former Munster Schools player is thriving in Portugal where he wants to stay as long as possible.
