Lack of jeopardy is costing us, says Davies

Caldy director of rugby Gareth Davies says the sting has been taken from this season’s Championship due to a lack of jeopardy at the bottom of the table – and fears that his side’s support may shrink as a result.
The RFU ruled there would be no relegation following the demise and suspension of reigning champions Jersey Reds earlier in the campaign.
Last season’s relegation battle between Richmond and London Scottish went down to the final day as the two arch rivals could only be split by three points, with the former suffering the drop to National One.
