Ystrad Rhondda back at top after Rumney rumble

YSTRAD Rhondda went back to the top of Championship East with a 26-5 bonus-point triumph over Rumney at Gelligaled Park. Jordan Williams was at the double with Jarrad Llewellyn and Mason Roderick also on the scoresheet while Rhys Truelove kicked three conversions. Owain Govier got the Rumney try.
The win made it six out of seven for Ystrad Rhondda who move five points clear of Bargoed – whose game at Bedwas was postponed.
