Bath boss Johann van Graan made no excuses after his team had failed to press home their advantage in the final minutes of their defeat to Northampton.
“We had enough opportunities to put them away, but well done Northampton,” he said.
He was clearly frustrated at the officiating including seeing fly-half Orlando Bailey have a first-half penalty attempt timed out. Bailey missed the kick, but it summed up Bath’s frustrating afternoon.
Van Graan made no public criticism of the referee Adam Leal but said he make his views known through the official channels.
