WITH regards to Nick Cain’s article last week, about Saracens’ poor start to the season, without wishing to sound like too much of a pedant, Saracens actually had 11 players involved in the World Cup quarters, not eight (the seven English and one Fijian) suggested by Nick, he forgot that Nick Tompkins was with Wales and two Sarries newcomers Lucio Cinti and Juan Martin Gonzalez were both with Argentina (in addition Theo McFarland and Marco Riccioni had only just returned). Plus, Ivan Van Zyl and Hugh Tizard who both started the Premiership final in June have been injured ...
