I think Smith could be England’s Faf de Klerk

THEY say: ‘hindsight is a wonderful thing’... If only we could go back and NOT change the front row against South Africa.
I’ve been critical of the ‘old school’ in the past, but before the changes, Dan Cole, Jamie George and Joe Marler were very much holding their own. The bench of Ellis Genge and Kyle Sinckler couldn’t settle the scrum after they came on. Four penalties in the last 20 minutes just isn’t good enough at this level. It was our game to lose, and we did. However, Danny Care brought some much needed fizz to the No.9 position...
