NICK Mullins, the meticulously prepared ITV commentator, was caught off guard by South African prop Frans Malherbe at the Springbok team announcement on Thursday. Mullins who does a lot of prep midweek watching training and attending press conferences asked Malherbe what it was like in the middle of a scrum. Malherbe wryly asked the man with the mic if he wanted to join them.
