Exeter full-back Josh Hodge is ready to step up and fill the void left by Stuart Hogg who retired in the summer.
“I’ve learned off great players but I feel that now I’ve learned all that I need to put it into my game,” said Hodge.
“It’s a really exciting time for me and we’ll see where it goes.”
Hodge, 23, who started 15 games in all competitions for Exeter last season, scoring four tries, added: “Stuart Hogg is a great mentor, he’s taught me a lot, as has the likes of Jack Nowell.
“Both are really good players and it’s been a privilege to step into that 15 jersey this year.
