Too many clubs, not enough players

If it ever turns out that the governing body at Twickenham has a monopoly on rugby wisdom, we are all up the Swannee without a paddle.
Happily, that day has yet to dawn. There are people out in the shires who really know what’s happening to the domestic game and if anyone in authority took the trouble to talk to them, they might learn a thing or two.
