WITH Johnny Sexton’s absence I can think of nobody better to fill the Ireland number 10 shirt than Ross Byrne. A humble man with a strong work ethic, an accurate kick and has on many occasions booted Leinster and Ireland to victory in the United Rugby Championship, Heineken Cup, Autumn Nations and Six Nations.
Ross, along with his brother Harry, would have trained with Sexton, in the Leinster camp so who better to take on the fly-half duties for the warm-ups than this well-seasoned, cool headed, hardworking player?
