IT IS now time for the RFU to listen to the chairmen and directors of the Championship clubs that have been through the same problems as the three lost Premiership clubs and find out how they have rebuilt into sustainable clubs.
I have supported Bedford for over 50 years and seen the highs and terrible lows when we nearly lost the club to Coventry. The town and dedicated local business men stepped in and put a plan together to save the club.
