Wales interim head coach Mark Jones has appointed Dragons forward Ryan Woodman as captain of the 30-player squad which consists of 17 forwards and 13 backs, with five uncapped players.
Wales are in Pool A where they will face five-time winners New Zealand, holders France and Japan.
