Natal Sharks moved to the top of the Currie Cup table after beating the Griffons 35-9.
Sharks roared back from a 9-7 half-time deficit to score two tries in six minutes through Yaw Penxe and Mpilo Gumede to knock the stuffing out of a highly competitive Griffons outfit.
Their fate was sealed when Springbok prop Ntuthuko Mchunu rumbled over to secure the four-try bonus point.
They ended proceedings in fine style as replacement Vincent Tshituka and Dylan Richardson combined in open play to allow Nevaldo Fleurs to claim a fifth try.
