Western Province staked their claim for the Currie Cup playoffs by beating the defending champions Pumas 22-14.
The Pumas took an early lead when loosehead Cameron Dawson crashed over for a try, but Jean-Luc du Plessis levelled the scores when he converted Godlen Masimla’s try.
Andrew Kota streaked across the line and fly-half Tinus de Beer converted to give the visitors a 14-12 advantage with 30 minutes to go.
