Academy at TJs thriving with Withers at the helm

At a time when participation levels have fallen across the country, Tonbridge Juddians’ academy are revelling in healthy numbers and recently secured the National Cup.
While clubs across England lose players between the ages of 16-18, head of TJ’s academy Gareth Withers says that is the time when his side’s numbers bolster.
In the past nine seasons of the U18s National Cup, TJ’s academy have reached six quarter-finals, five semi-finals, four finals and this month were crowned national champions for a third time.
