THE story relating to the RFU financial crisis prompts me, once again, to write to TRP – acrisis which seems to have been able to manifest itself unchecked and in plain sight of everyone, which is a sad indictment of where we are.
For me, though, what is worse is my perception of those who run our game know they can do what they like, as the sabres don’t rattle for long and, come game day, the lemmings will march via the usual watering holes in their thousands without a second thought as to where their hard earned will end up and who will benefit from it.
