LEADERS Sedgley Tigers were sent crashing to their first defeat of the season by a fired-up Tynedale outfit.
Although they led for much of the game, the Tigers never looked comfortable against the tough-tackling Northumbrians and finally succumbed in a thrilling last 15 minutes.
Tynedale were magnificent and have now added the scalp of the leaders to that of second-placed Fylde.
