A HIGHLY determined Sevenoaks team won the day thanks to a great all-round team display.
But Guernsey opened the stronger and Matt Creber got the scoring underway with a try Owen Thomas converted.
But Sevenoaks hit back and opened their account after a catch by Josh Pettet and drive over the line saw Aidon Higgins score.
Sevenoaks then took the lead into the sheds after a powerful score by Elliot Munnally to make it 10-7 at half-time.
