Despite issuing an avalanche of apologies over scandals on and off the pitch, Welsh rugby’s besieged management were left staring last night at the sorriest sight of all.
The Six Nations table bears grim testimony to the deteriorating state of its most passionate nation, from winning more Grand Slams this century than anyone else to rock bottom. After three rounds, their championship can be summed up in one damning word: pointless.
Losing three out of three is bad enough; zero points out of 15 on offer makes it worse still. Italy, one out of 15 and next up in Rome on Saturda...
