I have to say last weekend’s Six Nations games disappointed me as it seemed the referee decided at least two of them rather than the players.
Over 100 games or not, Wayne Barnes made some game changing decisions in the Ireland-France match that were proved wrong in post-match television reviews.
Admittedly, he wasn’t helped by the TMO who probably didn’t get all the angles they wanted or needed either, but there can be no doubt that James Lowe’s try was a game changer.
