George Skivington hailed Gloucester’s rare victory in France as a big step forward as his injury ravaged side recovered from last week’s home thumping by Leinster to make the last 16.
Gloucester were without a number of leading players including Louis Rees-Zammit, Chris Harris, Adam Hastings, Santi Carreras, Fraser Balmain, Ruan Ackermann and Ben Morgan, but recovered from a shaky start to dominate.
