CLIFTON’S win at Stourbridge was abandoned before time after an injury to Daniel Openshaw.
The livewire Clifton scrum-half was held up under the posts and in so doing suffered a very nasty fracture to his leg.
This necessitated a summons for an ambulance which, to everyone’s delight and astonishment, arrived within two minutes followed by two rapid response paramedics.
