Chew Valley’s Tom Bryan kicked a last-gasp penalty to ensure his side won a classic against Ivybridge in Filham, a 30-29 win taking them joint-top of the South West Premier with Camborne.
It was a nip and tuck encounter for much of the afternoon, with the lead changing hands on nine occasions before Bryan stepped up to take the crucial kick only seconds before the final whistle.
Joe Webb, Liam Evans, Dean Brooker and a penalty try had Valley up by three points with seven minutes remaining.
