Joy for Juddians as Sevenoaks come up short

Tonbridge Juddians came out on top in their first competitive clash with hosts Sevenoaks in more than a decade.
The opening salvos of the contest were predictably abrasive, with the match played out between each side’s ten-yard line and with no meaningful penetration made by either team.
After a period of tackling, lineouts and breaks, equally shared between the two teams, finally the Juddians established field position and remained patient before scoring in the Oaks corner in the 31st minute.
