Leicester last week parted company with the long-serving Head of Communications Gary Sherrard after more than 16 years at Welford Road.
The exact reason why Sherrard, one of the best and most respected media officers in the sport who was previously Head of Sport at the local newspaper Leicester Mercury, left is a mystery.
The Premiership’s longest-serving media manager is now Mark Stevens at Exeter Chiefs.
