James has sights set on success in Europe

Having reached the quarter-finals in the first two seasons of Alex Sanderson’s tenure as DoR, Sale Sharks are hellbent on going even further this time around.
The north’s premier club were handed as tough a draw as you could ask for with games against five-time winners Toulouse and 1999 champions Ulster, their European Champions Cup opponents this afternoon.
For long-serving centre Sam James, it is another special occasion to look forward to on the back of his 200th game for the club against Bristol a fortnight ago.
