HULL Ionians proved too good for Chester as they consolidated their third-place status against a side who had won their last three games.
And, as a result, Ionians director of rugby Graham Steadman was relieved to come away from the fixture with five points bagged.
“This was a good win against a good Chester team, who have just had three good wins, two on the road,” said Steadman.
