Bury just had enough to see off Sevenoaks in a real see-saw battle.
Oaks were the first to make their mark with two Ben Adams penalties, before Bury’s Charlie Reid responded with a penalty of his own.
The game changed in Bury’s favour when a shoulder barge on Stanway resulted in a penalty and yellow card. Bury kicked to a corner and Fin McCartney made no mistake from the catch and drive. Reid converted.
Two minutes later Oaks’ woes were further compounded with a second yellow card, with the penalty leading to McCartney’s second try....
