Australia claim that World Rugby has backed their contention that the French referee Mathieu Raynal was wrong to penalise Bernard Foley for timewasting one minute from the end of their Rugby Championship match in Melbourne earlier this month. Australia were leading 37-34 having been 18 points down at one stage in the second half. They were awarded a free-kick close to their posts and were in no rush to take it.
